friendly accommodation.
Our base is the family run Hotel El Palen located
in the old quarter of the small, quaint town of
Segorbe. Straddling two small hills and housing
a Moorish castle, roman aqueduct and cathedral within
its walls, Segorbe offers a good choice of restaurants,
bars and shops. The hotel, which was formerly the
town bakery, has just eight, comfortable, en-suite
rooms and probably the finest restaurant in town.

Great Walking
Nestling in the Palancia valley, the Sierra Calderona
and Sierra Espadan mountains surround Segorbe and
there are three natural parks nearby. We offer many
walks that start from the hotel in addition to the
guided walks that we drive you to. |
Walks vary from pine-clad hilltop routes with great views
to riverside paths through deep valleys with stunning
cascades. All of the walks are easy to medium grade. Check

Great Service
Although the walking week is more independent than our
Inclusive Holidays we do not skimp on personal attention.
We offer a guided walk on two of the days, transfer you
to the airport, walks and Valencia city, and will recommend
and book restaurants for you, even providing translations
of the menus!
