About the area

Although only 8 days, you will start in Portugal and cover the best bits of the Central, Coastal and Espiritual variants of the Camino Portuguese.

Coastal walking, beach board walks, strolling through woods, vineyards, riverside and through pretty countryside plus as an added bonus the beautiful Spiritual Route of Water and Stones. If you’re undecided about which route to take, this tour has it all.

The Walks

Full use is made of the support vehicles to ensure you only do the best bits of all the variants.

You can walk as little or far as you wish each day and we are experts at ensuring that you will be walking within your level of ability and therefore getting the most from your Camino.

Our morning briefings will ensure you know what to see and what to avoid so you won’t miss anything of importance. Walks chosen are easy to moderate.

Having the support vehicles really opens up the opportunity to stay in nice places and also to give you variety, some nights in interesting towns and others in peaceful countryside locations in beautiful, characterful accommodation.

Your Accommodation

From manor houses to Paradors, modern to monastery each night will be different and you will rest in the comfort of knowing you are staying in the best accommodation in that area. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and our relationship with the hotels ensure you will get the best of service.

Practical Information

Our start point is Viana do Castelo and collection is from Porto airport or if you are enjoying a few days in Porto first (highly recommended) then there is a short train journey from Porto that leaves you at the door of the hotel.

Throughout your holiday we will take care of all travel including your luggage with our air conditioned Mercedes minibuses and as we will be looking after you ourselves you can be assured of our personal attention.
